Reviews

“At least the film allows Radcliffe, post-Harry Potter, a chance to show his versatility. He gives a strong performance in a role that calls for him to switch from bereaved lover to pantomime-like clown, from detective to fiery avenger.” – Independent

“Radcliffe takes to this vengeful-demon stuff with relish.” – The Hollywood Reporter

“Radcliffe, through his sheer presence and the piercing honesty of those big, blue eyes, makes this mixed-up material watchable.” – RogerEbert.com

“Radcliffe ends up going to all kinds of dark places, and with impressive conviction. For the risk-loving star, this is merely the latest step on his long march away from Hogwarts.” – Total Film
