Hello lovelies! Good week and lots of bits to share with you today! Don’t forget, Swiss Army Man is now out in UK cinemas (try your local indie cinema if you’re struggling to find it!) and we hope you’ve all been to see this brilliant film!
Terribly sorry for the lack of updates lately, we’ve been a trifle busy adulting over the past few weeks. However, I’m happy to report that updates shall continue as normal from this week!
Instead of doing an absolutely huge round up, I urge you to check out our Twitter as we’ve been updating that as much as possible.
For now, Dan is currently back on our little island (huzzah!) and will be promoting Imperium which is out this Friday in select cinemas. He’ll also be promoting Swiss Army Man which is out the following Friday! How exciting! Here’s a list of some upcoming appearances to look out for:
16 Sept – Good Morning Britain (watch now)
20 Sept – AOL Build, London (Tickets)
21 Sept – BBC Breakfast with Nick Grimshaw (Avilable here after it airs)
21 Sept – BBC 6 Music with Shaun Keaveny (Available here after it airs)
23 Sept – Empire Live – UK premiere of Imperium and Swiss Army Man
26 Sept – Picturehouse Central, Swiss Army Man screening with Q&A with Dan (Tickets)
30 Sept – The Graham Norton Show
Dan will also feature in the new Big Issue, ShortList and Elle magazine.
If you spot that Dan’s going to be appearing anywhere, let us know!
We’re here with a very special round-up this week! Swiss Army Man premiered at Sundance this past Friday to some pretty interesting reactions! A few were quick to dismiss it, with a handful of people walking out of the premiere (around 30 people walked out of a sold out 1,100 capacity theatre – so the mass walk-out theory is a load of media generated bollocks). Judging from the reviews that have come out over the past two days, this is definitely a film to look out for in the future! We can’t wait to see it!
Anyway, here’s what we’ve managed to find thus far. As always, we’re a bit crap on finding pictures but we’ve got a lot of other great stuff to keep you amused for a few hours! We have a lot more over on our Twitter, including lots of initial reactions from the film so be sure to check that out.
We’ll be keeping this thread updated throughout the week so be sure to check back. Enjoy!!
– Two new stills from the film can be seen at IndieWire.
– Vulture talks to Dan about erections and farts.
– Bustle chatted with Dan and Paul about what 3 things they’d take on a desert island.

Daniel Radcliffe is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! The ceremony will be held 12 November 2015 at 11:30am PST and is free to attend.
Us British fans need not worry though as the entire event will be streamed online live via WalkofFame.com. Be sure to tune in to the website at 7:30pm UK time!
Dan will be introduced by Chris Columbus, who directed the first two Harry Potter films, and Chris Hardwick, a comedian you’ll be familiar with if you watch the Victor Frankenstein panel from Comic Con this year.
It’s assumed Dan is also in LA to do promo work for Victor Frankenstein so as soon as we find out about anything else he might be attending, we’ll let you know!
Dan, sneaky bugger that he is, has made an appearance in the new series of BoJack Horseman, an original series on NetFlix. He’s in the episode titled “Let’s Find Out” where he appears as himself during a game show.
Other shit happened this week, but Comic Con is happening now, so here’s a very special edition of the Radcliffe Round-Up, updated live (ish) throughout the evening. Keep checking back for updates if you can’t be arsed to look at our Twitter or Tumblr.
We are truly being rewarded for our lack of patience – just look at all the lovely goodies we’ve had this weekend!
A.J. Jacobs’ Global Family Reunion* is taking place in New York as I type, and as promised, Cousin Dan (38 degrees of separation from Jacobs – Dan is his first cousin once removed’s husband’s third great aunt’s husband’s fourth cousin twice removed’s wife’s second cousin’s brother-in-law’s sister-in-law’s son-in-law’s brother’s great-grandson) has sent along a video message to the attendees. Until the live stream is (hopefully) archived, you can watch the screen recording of Dan’s message below.
As Dan is likely still in New York, there’s a chance he might even show up at the event – if he does, we’ll keep you posted!
* Even the staff here can say “I am a cousin”; Sarah has 38 degrees of separation from AJ, Emma 43 degrees, and the two are second cousins once removed!
Daniel Radcliffe made a clean-shaven (sob!) apearance at last night’s opening night of The Spoils, a new off-broadway play written by and starring Jesse Eisenberg as well as Dan’s longterm girlfriend Erin Darke.
The couple, who met while filming Kill Your Darlings three years ago, were photographed together at the Qi Bangkok Eatery in New York.
Daniel is currently on a break after filming on BBC Two drama, Game Changer ended late last month. It’s not clear which project he will start next though. He has several in the pipeline including Brooklyn Bridge, with Ben Kingsley and Brie Larson, and Young Americans, which will reunite him with his Kill Your Darlings collaborators, Dane DeHaan and John Krokidas.
Whilst we wait (im)patiently for the Victor Frankenstein trailer, Dan and co-star James McAvoy treated us to a joint appearance at The Jameson Empire Awards 2015, where they presented the award for Best British Film. Judging by the photos, we’re in for a real treat once promotion starts for Victor Frankenstein.
The Empire blog reports:
With such a wealth of British talent in the room, it was no easy task to choose two of Blighty’s finest to present this award. Happily for us, we had access to the combined might of James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe. They’re both stars of stage and screen, they’re both gifted with uncanny powers (at least onscreen) and they’re bringing Frankenstein back to life for us later this year. Your move, America!
“We didn’t know what to say when we stood up here,” says McAvoy, “so I’ll just tell you what Daniel suggested, which is that we stand here and look pretty.” Well, job done on that front, guys.
We’ll update the post as and when video becomes available, but in the meantime, take a look through the photos below.
